I am 64 year old MtF who started transition over 20 years ago. Beware the girls who think this life is all fun and dress-up parties. I found out how hard it could be when I was very young. There is that popular saying by males- ‘I tip my hat to you" but suddenly I want to praise you and find myself stymied. I have no idea what we ladies would say. So don’t think twice if I get it wrong but I lift my skirt to you.
Most girls I run into just say “cool" . Shades of the Sixties and Seventies..

Thank you for your words of wisdom. I can’t even imagine the trials you overcame to transition 20 years ago. There are many sacrifices, but equally many joys.
