Feeling helpless is a disabling, self-defeating emotion

How do we get past that negative state of mind? It will only get worse unless you can think your way out of it or something or someone else can pull you out of it. As it is with any negative situation, you do not have to suffer more than you choose to, or consent to. You can empower yourself and take action against any negativity that enters your life. We all possess this ability and power and we’ve always had it at our disposal. We can overcome so much; heal and cure our biological self and change our patterns of thought. This ability is recognised and acknowledged within current science.  It postulates on how we have lost or been denied through society. Most likely as a deliberate way to keep the masses in the dark about the natural abilities we once had.

Becoming disengaged with some important things at our core being has not helped us individually in any way; in fact, they have brought about issues, problems and a sense of emptiness or lacking within many people.

Science is moving forward at an ever-increasing pace, research and understanding follow in its wake. Text translated from over 1,000 Sumerians tablets dating back some 6,000 years ago has provided a volume of text and information that is now better understood. It has thrown light onto the history of our planet in greater detail. How many things have been rewritten and changed to suit the rulers of the time? It has always been this way and why we have become disengaged with our true-selves in such profound ways. It’s no wonder that we feel helpless far too often. We are encouraged to give our consent to others for them to take care of our lives and our health. Why? Because we are no longer in a position to access the natural and spiritual self that keeps us grounded and connected with life and nature.

Such disempowering and disengagement is what has brought us to the state of the world right now.

We have natural power and the ability to influence the outcome of anything we choose. By giving our attention a collective focus in the world we can make things happen in a good or bad way. We have been denied access to such a natural development, due to a lack of education or reference to these things. We are being distracted from these parts of ourselves by being occupied by the need to simply survive and exist and not notice what is happening around us!

The events of the past year have only reinforced that view by all that we’ve been subjected to that is unnatural and detrimental to humanity and the planet.

Take back control of your emotions

The first step in taking back control is to diminish the sense of helplessness by becoming aware of your emotions and beliefs, bring them into your conscious and unconscious thinking, give them your attention. Review and refine them to be in alignment with your true self and the direction you choose to take in life. While doing so, never leave out the feelings of gratitude and love for life; all the wonderful things that allow you to enjoy the great quality of life that you benefit from. Be alive each morning with a sense of whatever gives you the utmost joy and pleasure. Everything we think, say, or how we act can have an effect on what happens around us and to us. We need to be mindful of the words we use in thought and speech and how we channel them into our actions throughout our daily life.

Perhaps, I am asking a great deal from you to implement this into your life, but it is important to begin in even the slightest way. We learn to walk in small steps and continue to build from that first step onward. As we learn, we become more able, and when we become more able we can create in better ways. Planting a seed is the most important part of any growth in us, as it is in nature. We too are a part of nature.

Whatever we choose to focus our attention on is exactly what we invite and create within our lives. The more focused we can be with our thoughts, the greater influence they will be in our lives and the events associated with them. A simple way to look at it: if you chose to believe you will have a great day – keep that thought present in your mind, feel it emotionally, think of it as if you’ve already achieved it. Visualise yourself living in that moment – and truly ‘feeling’ it as if it were reality.

Feel It and Be It – shape your future within the moment!

I began this journey the day I opened my eyes for the very first time. I found this site at a time when I needed support more than any other point in my life. I had chosen to transition after years of internal turmoil, failing to be able understand or accept who and what I was. My life moved on at a pace that I found hard to deal with at times, but I managed. Living alone in the South West of France life was far from simple or easy then. Then, I discovered this oasis online, finding love, understanding and support unequalled to anything I have previously come across. Dare I suggest, my other family! So, why return after leaving about two years back? At the point, my life was changing dramaticaly, everything I had believed, understood and built my life around, up until that point, changed almost overnight. I am very settled in my life now living as a woman, with friends and a social life, all while being the happiest I have been. I am in the medical system here after overcoming many obstacles, now with the hope of surgery very soon to complete my transition. I have returned here in the hope that my experiences and knowledge can be of help to others in this community. When very young, I dreamed of being a girl, going to bed at night hoping I would awake as a girl. After realising that wasn't going to happen, I shut down that wish and lived a repressed existence from that day. It took a lifetime of unintentionally hurting myself and others, regretfully! Perhaps the one true regret of my life!

I think it’s important to confront and overcome your own fears in order to free your mind and take control of your life. Our society burdens us with fear so it can control and use us for it’s own goals. But our higher self can break free of this prison if we can turn within because the answer lies within. You do inspire me, dear.
