Everything starts with a thought
We are very familiar with how we protect and care for the things we invest our hard earned money into. Our valued and coveted possessions can sometimes rank higher than ourselves in how we can value them. Taking out insurance in case of breakages, accidents or failure to function, taking a car that we rely on daily for regular servicing, repainting the exterior of our house – the list goes on, but surely you get the idea by now.
How often do you devote time to care for yourself, pay attention to your own needs while providing for a family or dependents, generating income, and so on? When was the last time you thought about what you really desire or need, that would lift up your spirits, helping you get through life and avoid feeling that you are on a hamster wheel?
We have grown up in a world that encourages us to place our complete faith and trust into the systems that we are born into and that prevail throughout our lives, that cover every aspect of our existence. Perhaps you have never thought of life in that way, so let me point out a few things here.
There are a great number of benefits in growing older and reaching retirement; it gives us time to look carefully at life and review our own place in the world in great depth, to acquire a greater understanding of our purpose in this world. In numerology it talks about us having three phases in our lives, the third phase where we have the ability to become more spiritual and fulfill our purpose in life. A view that I was not aware of until this year, but fits like a glove in my case. Not only do I feel my spirituality has increased but my sense of being and ability to understand the workings of life, down to my own sense of direction and purpose. One where I can see how my life has led me to this exact point in my timeline. Where I am now is exactly where I am supposed to be!
70 years of learning
I have observed the world for almost 70 years now and can see how things like education, social acceptance, division of people, groups, cultures and nations have been blinkered and manipulated; how the money system has always been stacked in odds against us all, including governments and countries. How religion has been recreated throughout history in different guises, but with exactly the same structure since before the Egyptians; simply to control people, their thinking and lives while managed by some of the least spiritual people, encouraging donations and in some instances, percentages of people’s income. Modern medicine that would rather have us take pills than to look at why we are really ill, not understanding or interested that illness can be created by ourselves as a result of many things we are confronted by, experience or suffer, bringing about a major shift in our well-being, causing serious illness and possibly resulting in death if left unaddressed. Many documented cases exist of people recovering from serious illness, including cancer and other conditions, by the power of intention and the mind, acknowledged by scientists and doctors that enable change and healing of our biological and psychological health. Equally able to create serious illness if we are unable to resolve the internal conflict created by trauma, stress, fear or abuse, among a few of the causes.
Once we are able to see behind the stage curtains and see the man pulling the ropes and levers, things are easier to comprehend, how we have surrendered the responsibility of our lives to intangible and invisible forces who impose the rules and social and economic conditions we live under. Many major events that have happened throughout history are not by chance, that have been to influence our perception, create fear and submission to a narrative that affects our beliefs and understanding of the world. Only now and aided by technology, this has moved on at lightening speed in changing so much about how we live and interact with each other. Not all for the betterment of our lives, but a distraction from what is going on and keeping us busy surviving while believing that everything is being done in our best interest, safety and health. If only that were completely true!
We are encouraged to be a cog in the system and kept so occupied with surviving, making a living, assuming we are fortunate enough to find and obtain employment, not living as we choose, but as we are allowed to, being educated to have a specific and predetermined outcome that allows us to slot into the system to become trapped in it as it drains our energy and resources until the day we die. Easy to see why so many people around the world hate their job and engage in it simply for survival and an ability to feed themselves. Poverty has been on the increase for decades, with the divide between the poor and rich continuously growing. While famine remains unconquered, we can supposedly send astronauts to land on the moon and manipulate weather and manufacture weapons capable of destroying the planet, but not solve starvation or slavery. There is no profit to be made in saving the poor or starving; if it was seen as financially beneficial to the powerful and wealthy it would have been resolved years ago, to add to their already excessive fortunes.
Claiming back your life
Taking back responsibility for our life is critical if we wish to transition and move towards a happy and fulfilled life, sadly maybe not possible for everyone. Can You and Are You able to make this happen in a way You Choose?
Can we ever be in control to take full responsibility of our lives? I believe it is highly debatable, but like to believe that it is a possibility. We do this by taking small steps to bring about changes in new ways of thinking, new ways of living, new ideas and possibilities that exist, that simply need us to make contact with them and turn them into reality.
Everything starts with a thought, an idea, a vision, an image, a smell, taste or feeling; it can be anything that evokes stimulus in our mind and leads to more new thoughts and ideas. By considering our future and making a concerted effort to learn more about ourselves, acquire knowledge, learn more about how we are made of the same fabric of life as everything that exists in the world. It all consists of the same basic matter – *atoms, that are made up of 0.00001% matter, the nucleus, and 99.99999% the space taken up by electrons.
The atomic model that stood for many years from around the time of Issac Newton was based on a nucleus with protons and neutrons with electrons orbiting around it, rather like the planets in solar system around the sun, in a fixed and constant way that could be predicted. This theory had been rendered inaccurate by Quantum Science which now acknowledges the components as outlined above, *a tiny amount of matter surrounded by a cloud of electrons. I haven’t seen this new concept or this science being rolled out to allow people to understand that the old of science, by which much has been measured and justified in the world, is now considered as being flawed.
I bring these various elements into my writing in an attempt to illustrate, that large numbers of the population are unaware of these things and likely never to come across them in their daily life and may be unable to relate or understand these concepts that I include in my writing. I don’t say that in a condescending way, just that it’s highly unlikely my articles can change everyone’s perception or beliefs, no matter what I believe. I can only write about what I have seen, experienced and believe to be. This opinion is based on my lifetime of learning.
Never stop learning
The actions required to take responsibility for ourselves is fairly basic, while the reasons are considerable and have been there since before we were born. The world is changing faster than we can keep up; technology exceeds our understanding quickly if we are not learning constantly. Life is a continuous education that we must master the art of learning and to be in harmony with it. Current conditions around the world are forcing people to re-evaluate their existence and become aware of why and how we find ourselves in this place now. If not to bring about your transition, make it about choosing how You wish to live and what is truly important to You. Be sure to include gratitude, love and compassion; life without them can be shallow, hollow without purpose.
