Crossdresser Shop - Women's Clothing

For the average crossdresser, finding woman’s clothes that fit can be hard. Not only are the sizes different, but most woman’s clothes are too small around the chest, too large around the hips and too small around the waist. That’s not even counting the stress of being a man shopping in the woman’s section at your local mall.

Thankfully many woman’s clothing stores have online offerings with fairly generous return policies, and the size information provided is much more accurate online since it costs the merchant to process returns. Before you purchase anything I recommend taking a quick look at this guide to crossdresser clothing sizes.

Shop For Crossdresser Clothes

There are a number of stores that sell high quality and reasonably priced woman’s clothes in sizes that will fit the average crossdresser. These are some of my favorites:

Amazon: They have a great selection of woman’s apparel, and even offer free return shipping on some items. If you’re still finding your femme clothing size you can’t go wrong ordering a few dresses and skirts with free return shipping.

Macys: The grand old lady offers great looking clothes at reasonable prices – watch out for regular sales. Many readers of Crossdresser Heaven have shared glowing reviews of Macys, and in my experience they’re extremely transgender friendly. I can’t say enough about how much I love their store.

Nordstrom: Upscale fashion for the woman who wants to look her absolute best! Buy something you’ll enjoy for years to come, and be the envy of your girlfriends.

Other Places To Buy Woman’s Clothes

Blair: They sell comfortable clothes in sizes to fit larger woman.

Catherines: Stylish fashion for the larger woman. You’ll find clothes perfect for work or relaxing after work that fit like a dream.

Dillards: Affordable fashion – look good without breaking the bank!

Dress Barn: A stylish selection of dresses and other women’s fashion.

JC Penney: A traditional department store with a wide range of styles to suit any taste.

Lane Bryant: Fashion for the fuller figure

Sears: You can’t go wrong with the inexpensive everyday wear at Sears in a wide range of sizes including plus size.

Torrid: Sexy clothes for the larger woman. Torrid sells trendy styles that will fit the crossdresser well.

Maybe next time I’ll actually try the dressing room out

Hi do you know what a stores are for? TO MAKE MONEY thats it. I have shopped for everything from panties and bra’s to dress wear. Today owners are telling their sales people to have respect for the customer. If I walk in and buy $200.00 in clothes, is my money any different from a women’s. I have gone into stores to try on stuff. But before going into female dressing rooms I ask for permission first. If I get any uncomfortable reactions I ask for the manager or owner. I have never been thrown out but I have walked… Read more »

Canadian stores Addition Elle and Penningtons both sell plus size clothes that fit the larger sized CD’s well. Both are kinda pricey but usually have decent sales on. Addition Elle also sells some really nice lingerie.

I am new to this site and finding it wonderful.
I am in New Zealand and so probably my stores are not relevant to most here. But I find Farmers stores have nice labels and welcoming staff.
Also I recommend internet buying on AliExpress.com. It has a huge range of everything, all from China and often with free shipping.

I absolutely adore Torrid. In fact, the last time I went there (was in drab), bought some rings and a beautiful necklace. And the young lady that helped me even asked me what pronoun I prefer. Of course I said “She". And Lane Bryant is my place for panties.

MEASURE YOURSELF!!

There is no standard sizing in women’s clothing. There is often a lot of variance between retailers and even within the same retailer. Online retailers will have Size Charts or Size Guides that you can compare your measurements to.

The thing is, even if there was standard sizing, you would still have to contend with the fit that the designer intended: Body Con, Traditional, Oversized, etc.

Anyway, owing to this variance, I have pants is sizes 14 and 16 and dresses in 16, 18 and 20. How’s that for consistency?

Regarding online shopping, I frequent Etsy, and to a lesser extent, Poshmark. On Etsy I’ve bought clothes, jewelry and scarves. On Poshmark it is rare for me to shop for clothes these days. The reason is that I get very frustrated by people who describe a piece as Size 14, for example, without any measurements. There is essentially no size standardization for women’s clothing. I, and others, have posted questions that have gone unanswered for months even when the seller was recently present. I asked one seller for measurements and the response was that the tag said Size 16 but… Read more »

Hello. I am m new to this group but I have been shopping for feminine clothing for a long time. I love shopping for feminine clothing. Started in the lingerie section and bought a pair of panties at Target. Pretty pink lacy ones. That was many years ago. If you are new to shopping I have some tips for you to get past the stigma of being a man shopping for ladies clothing. First, shop in the off peak hours. Just after opening or just before closing and you can find yourself perusing to your hearts desire, all by yourself.… Read more »
