Post-op Day Three:
Some sensation has begun to return to my shoulder and with it has come the first twinge of pain. So far it’s still manageable with ice packs and Tylenol and I had slept more or less comfortably last night. Let’s see if that repeats itself tonight. Tomorrow I need to take my first shower since the procedure and put on a fresh set of comfortable clothes beneath my sling and immobilizer; aside from changing my socks and panties I’ve been in the same t-shirt and sweats since Wednesday. Washing myself with just one arm will be a challenge but it has to happen. It will also be an opportunity to check on how my sutures are healing and change the dressing. Hoping things continue to go well.
