I have learned a trick to zippers. Take a paper clip attach a string long  enough to pull over the shoulder.  Feed the clip through the zipper with the string up. Once you pull it up then you should be able to remove the clip or just tuck it under the back of the dress. You may be able to tuck the string under the shoulder and tuck it in to the bra strap.
