I’ve always known from a very young age that I was supposed to be a girl, those thoughts and feelings have never left me. I had open heart surgery last year and my life almost ended. It was while I was recovering in the hospital that I realized and accepted that it was time for Lauren to be free to live her life. Many people have applauded my courage, I’ve had men with military backgrounds tell me I’m one of the bravest people they know.
But I had reached a stage in my life where there simply wasn’t an option, it wasn’t a choice, it was what had to happen.
We will talk more about my story, I’m happy to share with everyone. 🙂
