fighting, back-biting, and bad manners

I’m told there is a lot of back talk going on about an instance that occurred recently.

Here is my take on the whole thing:

if you take offense to a post, the worst thing you can do is respond to it in an aggressive manner. you will be found at fault.

the right thing to do is to report the post. there is a report button on every post. trust me, they are very easy for a moderator to edit, close, or trash, once we are aware of the issue.

along with that, if you are coached on a behavior, don’t repeat the behavior. being coached multiple times for infractions result in… well, we decide that, and we have guidelines and policies for dealing with that.

please, please, please, don’t go there.
