Just thinking on favourite comedy shows, are you being served was mentioned. The two female characters are Miss Brahms played by Wendy Richard or Mrs Slocombe played by Mollie Sugden.
I know Miss Brahms is very sexy looking, but I think I’d be Mrs Slocombe as I could talk about my cat😂😂😂

Liz, I think I saw the show once or twice a long time ag0, so I really don’t remember it. So girlfriend, you tell me who you think I should be.

Well my dear girlfriend. Do you remember Wendy Richard? Think she appeared in a couple episodes of Dads Army, also recorded a couple of songs with Mike Sarne called Come outside and Will I what? Think she also appeared in Eastenders. I mean this in a nice way, she played the dumb bombshell. Mollie Sugden always the more senior women think she appeared in the Liver Birds. I think I’d play Mrs Slocombe and you play Miss Brahms.😂😂😂

Hope your not offended by that

        Hugs Liz x

      Liz….

      Miss brahms was sexy….

…but let’s be honest here….multi coured hairstyles and bright colourful outfits….I would have to be Mrs Slocombe, even if I couldn’t control my cat……and I am unanimous in that!!!!!

      Dear Elizabeth ,

I have to say Miss Brahms.
I loved the things they sold at the woman´s department.
And the show also had the sometimes crossdressing Mr. Humphries.

      Love Sylvia.

        Dear Elizabeth ,

Yes I saw the movie too.

I Haven´t been outside being dressed at all I´m afraid Elizabeth.
As I am still in the closet , I only dress in the privacy of my home.

I did love that show , watched the entire re-run of it on Dutch TV !

I have come to the realisation that , as a kid , I loved watching TV-shows that had some
kind of a special Feminine theme in it that I didn’t realise at the time I was watching them.
Now I know why I really liked some of those shows.

        Love Sylvia.

      Thought you’d pick that Rozealyne

On another line do you remember Martha Longhurst and Minnie Caldwell two names actresses played in Coronation Street when it 1st ran? There was also Elsie Tanner, Annie Walker, Hilda Ogden and Ena Sharples. Real big lady actors who played their rolls brilliant.

        Hi Liz,

You are making me all nostalgic, proper kitchen sink drama. Those Stan and Hilda scenes were classics.

        Love
