As most of us have found, the shoes just don’t fit us.
Am i alone? I have acquired a nice collection of shoes over the years.

Some distributors have a plus size.

My favs include stiletto, gladiator sanders and boots (low and high).

I am addicted to 2 to 2 1/2 inch pumps and yes they are 12 Wide size for the most part. Give me Pumps!!!!

Love shoes, have a heck of a time finding any that are both vaguely cute and affordable. I wear at least a women’s US 13 extra wide, and a 13 1/2 or even a 14 would be better. I like peep toes so people can see my painted toes – heels, wedges and flats. Have found a few nice ones at Payless and Avenue. Online at other sites with less success – most that would fit are just not in the budget.

I know in Uk a good place for shoes is Heelerdealers

I typically wear size 11 and the selection of shoes at many stores is very limited. And as most of us are aware of, even when I do find a pair of shoes I like, the price tag of the shoes are not to my liking. I rarely have luck at second hand stores finding styles I like and a size 11. I have have found the most success at Plato’s closet, though as I have gotten older I find that most of their merchandise is geared toward the younger crowd. I have grown a liking to Mossimo heels and Target often times has a good selection in styles and some times they will have them on clearance. If some of you all are not familiar with Mossimo shoes I would suggest doing doing a quick Google search. I think you may be pleased in what you find. They have a nice pump called “Pearce” and the variety of colors is excellent and you are sure to find one that matches most any outfit. Hugs Kelci.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I haven’t found Mossimo shoes in my size yet, but have had great luck with their clothing line.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Kelci – also try Maryland Square. A bit pricier but quality is outstanding.

My favorites are sandals, knee high boots and pumps. I’ve had great luck with Payless, Pleaser and Ellie shoes (I’m a size 12 / 12w)

Due to arthritis in both knees and ankles, heels of any height are off my list. Added to that, heels, and a walking stick or rollator walking frame don’t go well together.
🙁

I like either sandal or closed flats. For me, the style is less important than how well the sole grips. With my weak bones, anything that does not grip well increases the risk of broken bones from slipping over.

The brand of shoes I usually buy are HomyPeds

I guess I’m lucky in that I wear size 11 because most department stores and Walmarts in the US carry that size. Plus, they’re usually discounted on clearance because it’s an uncommon size and store wants to get rid of the stock. I have a collection of flats because they’re classic and always cute, plus a pair of boots that I can’t wait to wear more in the fall.

I love heels…Pumps, Strappy Sandals, Flats, and Flip-flops/beach sandals. The heels need to be 3″ to 5″ anything higher is too much for me. I wear a size 11 to 12 women’s depending on the style of shoe.

Umm, wow! I wish I could wear something like that, but first I couldn’t get in it and second I would break my neck!

But they are really, really sexy.

WOW Love those shoes Alissa – now I gotta get me a pair.
One of my daughters brought me over a pair of here open toe heels for me to try out. We wear the same size shoe and dress 🙂
Reading all these posts, I guess I shouldn’t whine about finding cute stuff in my size. 10 wide doesn’t have much of a selection, but maybe an 11 would work?

Though I wear Size 11, I feel that my true size is 10.5 and I have never been able to find shoes in this size. I have learned that I can wear size 10s by some designers, though just a little snug to for my liking but once broken in, are not that bad at all.

I love heels and boots and usually don’t have tons of trouble finding my size 11’s. My issue seems to be the shoes I love usually have 4 inch heels and I’m 6 feet tall. It feels odd to me to be in such high heels.

I wear a size 12 mens shoe and I have found that I can wear a size 12W or 13 womans shoe. It is funny I have about 30 pairs of womans shoes and 2 pairs of mens. I have been shopping at Torrid and Lane Bryant and sometimes I can get a pair of 13’s at Payless.

• #13599

I’m a lucky girl, I have small feet, 9.5 womans. I shop DSW, Zappos, & Amazon. With the smaller feet I am a shoe diva, and can almost always find shoes in my size.
