A Crossdressing Summer to Remember

I recently returned from a week long vacation to Hawaii, where the sweltering heat reminded me that summer is just around the corner. Unfortunately my return to Seattle was greeted with the customary covering of gray clouds and rain, but ever the eternal optimist I look ahead towards the beautiful sunny and 75 summer days.

I must admit that I’ve become quite a fan of clothes by OneWorld. I own a breezy summer dress as well as a few tops from them, and I feel joyously happy every time I wear them. The material they use seems to have just the right balance of fun, flirty and flattering along with the keeping you cool during the hot summer. You’ll be happy you gave this OneWorld Dress a try. If you’re not, I think Amazon has a pretty good return policy :)

After having indulged myself (again) in a fairly large shoe purchase from my temple of shoes, Zappos, I’d be hard pressed not to recommend this nice pair of strappy sandals I bought recently. After walking around most of Kirkland in them the other day, I can say that they’re more suited for ‘looking cute in the sun’ and less suited for ‘crazy urban hiking’. Though I know very few crossdressers who forgo style for comfort. Oh, and they come in a few different colors and are available up to size 13 :)

My Intoxication

If something brings you untold joy whose glow lingers for days, could it possibly be a bad? If something kisses a smile to your lips and extends a warm glow across your entire body, could it be harmful? If something is so intoxicating that it calls to you from your slumber, could it be an unhealthy addiction?

I’m blessed that a simple trip to the mall can evoke within me euphoric bliss as my inner woman awakens to feed. If there’s anything better than delighting in the purchase of a perfect outfit, it’s partaking in this ecstasy with the one you love. An experience my wife and I recently undertook that had our newly minted Macy’s credit card panting to keep up.

Some Crossdressing Outfits…

There are many things I love about Macy’s. Their great deals, stylish clothes and helpful shop assistants are just a few. Not to mention their online store complete with feminine wonders. The thing I love most about Macy’s is how welcoming they are. I’ve shopped their wearing my masculine disguise and en femme. Alone and with my wife. I’ve never had any trouble trying on clothes or getting help if I needed it.

A few weeks back my wife and I piled our arms high full of clothes and spend three or four hours alternating between ‘hunting for the perfect outfit’, ‘trying on clothes’ and ‘searching for just the right size’. I found an absolutely gorgeous flutter sleeve top for myself, as well as a breezy pair of capri pants.

Of course, a shopping outing wouldn’t be complete without at least one new pair of shoes. Like many larger woman I struggle to find shoes that fit in regular stores. I used to feel bad about the slim choice of styles for my 12W feet, but ironically enough my wife has a harder time finding shoes that fit her. Perhaps it’s the fates ensuring she leaves sufficient space for my ever growing shoe collection. If that’s so, she’s none to happy with them. Thankfully Zappos rode to the rescue, and we were able to finish our retail weekend purchasing a box full of shoes. Thanks to the loving kindness of the good folks at Zappos we got free 2 day shipping as well!

I found the perfect pair of high heeled wedges. I can’t wait for the heat of summer so I can wear them out with freezing my tootsies off!

So shopping… that is my crossdressing addiction. One that I’ll be happy to treat with regular excursions to my local merchants. How has the diva of discount purchases treated you ladies?

Pretty in Pink: A Crossdressed Outfit for Everyone

Pretty Pink Dress

This week’s Crossdressed Outfit features a lovely feminine short sleeved pink dress. The criss-cross pattern flatters the figure, and the slimming lining helps smooth over any areas that may still be in need of a gym workout.

I must admit that when I first saw this dress I fell in love. It’s flirty without being too short, and can go from breezy daytime wear to elegant evening wear just by adding a jacket and some pantyhose. The dress would make a wonderful pairing with these Bella-Vita open toed high heel shoes. They’ve got a higher 3″ heel, so your legs will be moved to shapely perfection.

If you prefer casual you can pair this dress with a white or nude medium heel wedge, like the Softspot Sadie. As always, at the time of writing all the items mentioned are available in larger sizes (XL or 16 for the dress, and at least 11W for the shoes). I know how hard it can be to find good looking clothes that fit a larger frame, but with a bit of persistence, patience and an eye for fashion you’ll be able to put together some amazing outfits!

A Crossdressed Outfit for Spring

A Fun Confetti Dress for Spring

Just recently the sun decided to pay us a visit in Seattle – the first such visit in many months. Those of you who blessed to lively in sunnier climates may not fully appreciate the joy and anticipation that a few clear, cloudless days can bring. Spring is just around the corner, and is one of my favorite seasons (along with fall) for crossdressing. The weather is warm enough to wear fun skirts, strappy heels and breezy sundresses. The cloying heat of summer has not yet arrived to bring sweat stains and force frequent makeup fixes.

This week I thought I’d share a cute crossdressed outfit, inspired by the coming Spring. As regular readers of Crossdresser Heaven may know, Crossdressed Outfits are specially chosen to fit a larger frame. All clothes are available at the time of writing in XL (16/18), and shoes in size 11W and up.

Crossdressing in Spring

A wonderful Spring ensemble is this fun confetti dress with a pair of cute strappy sandals. The dress is on the shorter side, so this is a great opportunity to show off your legs – usually one of the best assets for a crossdresser. If you’re feeling a bit self-conscious try this outfit with a pair of tights.

The sandals have a shorter heel just over 2″, so you won’t find yourself wobbling all over the place. Tripping on the sidewalk is a sure way to put a damper on a beautiful Spring day :)

Don’t forget to put your head up, smile and share the light inside you with all those you meet.

Crossdressed Outfit of the Week: Here Comes The Snow

After a Halloween hiatus, crossdressed outfit of the week is back, and I’ve got some great crossdressing fashion ideas to share with you.  While I dearly love browsing for a cute skirt, or the perfect top to complete my outfit I’m sometimes frustrated with not being able to find my size. Crossdressed Outfit of the Week features clothes that at the time of writing are available in at least size XL (or 16/18) and shoes available in 11W or larger.

Crossdressing in the Snow

Crossdressing fashion: A mid-length skirt

Crossdressing fashion: A mid-length skirt

Fall and Winter fashions are a crossdresser’s dream come true. Gone are the short breezy skirts and skimpy tops that all but scream masculine at your too broad shoulders. One of my fall favorites it the mid-long skirt paired with a good pair of boots. In the fashions shown here the floral skirt (on special at almost $55 off the original price now) has a femininity about it without sporting too small a floral pattern. As you know, small patterns make you look even larger – not something any girl wants ;)

A Crossdressers Favorite: High Heel Boots

A Crossdresser's Favorite: High Heel Boots

I love shoes of all types, but I have a particular fondness for boots. My favorite are ankle boots, though in Northwest winters ankle boots will leave your legs cold and wet. This week’s crossdressed outfit features a stylish mid calf leather boot. I’m trying hard to resist buying this one (I just sent back a pair of boots that didn’t quit fit, but even then my lovely wife is looking at my growing shoe collection with … concern).

Have fun with the last few weeks of fall while the remaining few leaves cling to the trees and the snow is held at bay.

P.S. I apologize for being a bit quiet these last few weeks. Between work, family drama and home projects it’s been a bit tricky to do one of the things I love the most – spending time with the lovely ladies at Crossdresser Heaven.
