Hi. Andrea Jenkins, the first openly transgendered black woman was elected to public office in the US. I’ll admit that I didn’t know before, but in learning about her, it sounds like her heart is in the right place. I’m excited that she represents yet another person who brings light to the trans community here and abroad. Z
