In the last year or two Virginia passed a whole raft of measures to protect transgender persons’ rights (protection from such as eviction, denial of loans or insurance, made changing your state issued ID easier, etc), but this week the whole state government swung the other way, so who knows what they’ll do? I felt I needed to get it done before they made any changes.
