I think this is the best attitude and approach. Owning it, accepting it, and acting as normally as you can puts everyone at ease. I get nervous, just like everyone, but when we get over the feeling that we have to hide, make excuses, or justify ourselves, it makes it easier for everyone. I mean, if you act nervous then youre much more likely to seem creepy, and no one wants some big life story or activist rant. I just say, “I just like to dress up. Its fun” and leave it at that.
