Hi Jessica, and welcome to a place where you can make friends and share your cares and concerns. I know I have! I understand how hard it can be to try to discover your feminine side when you are confronted by opposition, especially from family. When I returned to crossdressing after a very long absence I told my wife and family about it right up front. After some awkward moments, everyone came to realize that essentially nothing had changed I was still me, in fact I was even more caring and loving. In the final analysis, only you can decide if it is the right thing to do. If it is causing major issues in your family life you may want to try to find other outlets or perhaps be discrete (though I personally dislike hiding things from family). However, if you are doing it because you feel it is important to explore your feminine nature, (especially if it is more than just a sexual thing) then as the line from Shakespeare goes, “To thine own-self be true”.
