To be caught being “different” is always scary, at least in the beginning.  But it is also a relief; once you have been found out, you no longer have to worry about it happening.  You know, at  some level, that this compulsion of ours will never go away, and it is better to embrace it than to fight.  Or as the Borg always said: Resistance is futile; you will be assimilated”.  (Yes, I’m also a Trekkie).

Hi Paige,

We all take risks.  Paige is not unique in that vein.  Just getting into one’s vehicle and going for a drive could be risky.  But Paige is strong and thrilled to be out and about during her walks.

Most observers are caught up in their own situations so step past that anxiety.  Let those others see Paige for the beautiful person she is.
