During this awful pandemic I have found public dressing easier because of wearing very pretty masks. It takes the pressure off of getting a super close shave, which my face tells me the day after that it really does not like at all. But I have been dressing with full makeup a little more and only mask in close indoors situations now.
I’m a senior now and much of my beard is turning white…that’s good, but once again I am thinking that my beard is growing much faster ad thicker in the colder winter weather..that’s bad. Anyone else find this? - February 15, 2023 at 5:35 am #718351
My beard grows in thicker during the colder months and it looks like I am turning into a Sasquatch. I have to shave every day in order for me to feel human

I have shaved every day since ermmm….. probably since I was 15. Now 76, still shaving every day, I can’t ever say I noticed my beard growing more, or not, in the winter. The fact that it won’t stop growing at all is enough to depress this girl.

In actuality and contrary to popular myth, a beard grows faster in summer and slower in the winter. Here are a couple of links for reading.

At 69 it’s pretty bristly all the time.

I wish there was a I don’t know choice
See I always worn a full beard since I was 18 and now I’m pushing old.
I used to keep a ZZ Top style beard, then a few yrs ago I had a fire blast set my beard on fire.
It never grown back the same way again. So now I keep it mid length and keep it trimmed and neat.
I maybe into ladies clothing, but I love my beard to
