I am a happily married, father of 2. I have been struggling with cross dressing for 30  plus years. I am genuinely interested in learning all I can about this particular hobby. I am a guy’s guy, most of the time. There is just a small part of me that I still don’t understand, that has this deep desire to be noticed. Hope to learn more about myself, and others here. I will be praying that I can be a blessing to anyone here that needs something I have to offer. I am sure I will gain from the collective experience of the folks on this site.

Hello Tanya welcome to CDH glad you have shared a part of who you are and found us and made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place home or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. Glad you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself and you are sharing a part of your authentic self it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried what seems like a lifetime I am glad you have made the step. Hi Tanya, and welcome. I think the reasons we choose to crossdress is about as varied as we are. However, I identify with what you are saying in that when I become Paulette I become a different person, more outgoing and more capable of expressing my feelings, (which in my opinion is not a bad thing). The other thing I have noticed is how many of us are happily married (especially those of us who have revealed our passion to our spouses). But then, rather than trying to psychoanalyze this ad nauseam, I guess the best thing is to just enjoy the experience and see where the journey takes us. I know for me it has been a fun and rewarding experience. As Paulette, I have met so many new and interesting friends. It’s as my wife says, “If being Paulette is why you are a more loving and caring person, then keep it up”! Hugs, Paulette
