There’s no need to be nervous as we’re all here experiencing the same thing. The drive that is pushing us to our feelings to dress may not be in our minds as normal but here with the acceptance and understanding that you see from all that resides here certainly shows how normal things can be so don’t be scared embrace it. With the help and advice from others as well as our very informative forums I hope you can get a better understanding of your inner feelings. Where all this leads is something you need to discover so relax, get comfortable and ease yourself slowly into this wonderful world. I just discovered my feelings for femininity only 6 short years ago and now in my 60’s I’ve never been happier but not without its troubling times. This place will certainly help as it did me. Beautiful ladies to talk with and with some get to know , make friends with and receive wonderful advice from.

Hi Kelly Ann, and welcome to a place where you can make new friends and share your experiences. Please don’t be nervous, this is a warm and welcoming place. I know it has been for me, and it has been wonderful. I am so happy to hear of your wife’s acceptance of Kelly. As you probably suspect many wives are not so understanding and in several cases marriages have been lost, sad but true! When I returned to corssdressing about six years ago I told my wife right up front. It was awkward at first, but once she realized nothing had changed, and in fact being Paulette had made me much more loving and caring. I try not to ‘overdo’ Paulette in front of her, but she has on occasion accompanied me on one of my ‘adventures’. I look forward to hearing more from you. Hugs, Paulette

Hello Kelly Ann welcome to CDH I am glad you have shared a part of who you are with us and having found us you made the step to become part of a family that is welcoming, understanding, compassionate, and supportive. I am happy your wife is supportive that is wonderful to hear. While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone. It’s been a long journey 50 years and I’m finally able to be myself. Next thing I need to find is a quality wig and a nice pair of cute flat shoes with open toes I really can’t wear heels because I’m 6 ft 5. I can’t wait to go out on the town and meet with a group of ladies and have a great time 🥰
