Hi Everyone,
My name is Spectra, and I joined CDH this week. I started crossdressing when I was a teenager. Then I stopped for about 10 years. I started again for a couple of years before I stopped for another 10 years or so, and I’ve been off and on since. A little over a year ago I told my wife who has been accepting but has only been interested in limited participation so far.
I have a transgender daughter, and it was only because of her courage to come out to my wife and I that inspired me to come out to my wife. My daughter has no idea about my crossdressing.
I’ve been in therapy for awhile now to help overcome my obstacles with depression, shame, embarrassment, etc.
By day, I consult with small businesses as a CFO and provide payroll and bookkeeping services through my business.
I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder last year hence the name Spectra.
I’m looking forward to participating in the forums and learning more about other people’s experiences.

Hi Spectra nice to meet you and happy you found and joined us girls here so get settled in relax and enjoy yourself here.. As a new sister and family member you are welcomed with open arms into our home as well as yours now also.. Girl there is a wealth of knowledge here to access and learn from so look around and ask many questions of these wonderful ladies here telling there stories about there journeys down the femme road they are on.. So girlfriend when you get comfortable with us please join in with a story or two about the life and times of Spectra as she travels down her own girly path in life.. Now as for making friends here there are so many ladies from all over the world to build long lasting friendshps with and best of all we are just a simple click away from you.. It’s great to meet you. I’m glad you like my name. I’m so used to sending emails for work, that I’m nervous I’m going to sign off with my regular name one day. I think it can be hard to compartmentalize this part of my life when I’m trying to multitask.

Hi Spectra, and welcome. I think you will find this to be a place where you can make new friends and share your experiences. Please allow me to say you need not feel shame for your desire to explore your feminine side. The fact you came out to your wife is a major accomplishment. I am much older than you so I guess my opinion of what others think of me is not very high on my ‘social radar’. In fact, when I finally realized this good things started happening. CDH has been a wonderful place for me. I have made many new friends. I get together with some of them for ‘adventures’. We just got back from Las Vegas where we had a wonderful time. I don’t know where you live in Northern California but there is a very active group in Sacramento, the River City Gems. Hopefully you can tie up with them. Take care, ❤ Paulette ❤

Paulette opened the door and escorted me out for the first time in Vegas. With her encouragement , I was calm and comfortable. The key was being scared the 3 weeks leading up to it. When it came time I was fine. You will be also.
