Hello ladies. Maybe I should have spoken about my need for more specific help in my makeup—my lipstick application. I’m older and lipstick bleeds into the natural wrinkles in my skin. I understand that a liner may limit or prevent that but do you have any opinion or application experience as to which of those you have had the best results? I know that, regardless of age, many girls use the liner. Photos here show are skilled and have achieved very nice lines on both lips. Please help, just a tip or two to try. Really working on my presentation and I feel so much more at ease when my lips look nice in an important part of that. Thanks again!

Hi Alexis. You could try a lip liner pen first….they are the same as eyebrow and eye liners.
Do check out some of the manufacturers web-sites……..L’Oreal Paris, Covergirl, Max Factor etc., they have very good tutorials on there products and applications. Good luck….

Hello Alexis,
In addition to the lip liner you may also try the following:
(1) Exfoliate your lips.
(2) Use a lip primer.
(3) Apply lipstick with a brush.
(4) Apply a translucent powder outside lip line before lipstick.
(5) Use a matte lipstick and if you want a glossy look apply a little clear lip gloss in center of lips.
Hope this helps….
