Hi everyone, I’m Anna. It’s such a pleasure to find this website to share stories, meet like minded people, learn new skills, and find a place where I can purchase items specifically tailored for us.
I’m still learning about myself after many years. I’ve been cross dressing since I was in my early 20’s off and on. It would be great if I had the money for all the wardrobes I’ve disposed of, lol, maybe I could get the surgery to complete me. I only dress when I’m at home. I need more practice doing my makeup.I’ve only gone out once as Anna and that was to a gay bar on Halloween. I could wear a mask then and not worry about my makeup.
I don’t consider myself as gay because I don’t feel like a man. Only one person knows about Anna and she’s a lesbian. None of my friends or family know. I’d love to change that situation but am afraid of being alone. I’ve been single for over 21 years.
I’m looking forward to finding new friends that will support me and maybe one day I’ll have enough confidence to have a relationship again.Hi Anna and welcome!
I’m one of those members that lurks mostly, enjoying the insights of our sisters here, sticking my nose in once in a while.
I’m probably on the older end of the scale here, though I do see many members that I would consider my peers.
Like many CD’s, I’m totally hetero. But recently (two months ago) I met the most beautiful woman who is most definitely not a lesbian, who is the first person I ever came out to. Your story is so opposite of mine, I am looking forward to seeing your perspective on things. I am happy being a guy who has a real strong feminine side, you sound more like someone who feels that you got, and I do not mean this as mean, shortchanged in the gender assignment.
I sometimes wonder that too, but realize my life, outside of being closeted for 50 years, has turned out pretty darned good, notwithstanding my wife not wanting anything to do with my female side. Still wish I could have expressed that side of me in all those years. Wondering how it has impacted your life, feeling like you weren’t really you all this time.
I know I may be projecting or assuming things, so I really want to hear more. Stories like yours help me look back at mine, make me ponder.

While we are all similar and have many of the same desires we all differ on our goals or public expression and or level of personal experiences. I encourage you to explore the many forums, topics, polls and member biographies found here as there are a wide range of members all over the spectrum of feminine expression or those on the path to transition and those that have. There are also links to websites that have products and services that may help you on your own personal path of acceptance and self expression. Ultimately it is a place, home, or world were you can feel feel comfortable and confident in who you are; as being who you truly are as your authentic self of you being a man, a woman, or expressing your feminine desires feelings and or qualities. I am happy you are here and have made a choice to accept this part of yourself as self acceptance is the most important thing you can do for yourself and others. You can’t expect others to accept you if you don’t accept yourself all of you. As you are sharing a part of your authentic self here on CDH it ultimately lifts some of the burden that you may be feeling which many of us have carried for what seems like a lifetime you are not alone.
