The biopic about Ed Wood was not Glen or Glenda, a fictional story about a cd, which he directed and played both Glen and Glenda in 1953. The biopic was called Ed Wood and starred Johnny Depp in 1995 with Martin Landau and Sarah Jessica Parker in supporting roles. Only a few scenes show Mr. Depp in drag.
