I’ve been underdressing with my wife’s knowledge since 2010. The extent of my journey, thus far, has just been wearing women’s panties daily (all day, every day). I occasionally wear stockings. If I’m not wearing skinny jeans, I sometimes wear thigh highs with garters. I have worn corsets at home in the past but now that I want to go further, I learned that my love of beer has made all my old corsets too small which has motivated me to lose weight. I had planned to only dress in public at some special events. The more I thought about doing that, the more I wanted to just do it regardless of if it was for an event where it would be acceptable. Three weeks after ordering my first shoes and skirt, I made my first public outing en femme. It was wonderful, fulfilling, and I want to do it more and more.
Way to go Mika! I don’t know much about makeup yet, but it seems your off to a flying start, I can only imagine where your skills will be a year from now.

Wonderful first steps Mika. Figuring out one’s foundation color is critical and it really is a matter of trial and error, lots of errors. However once you find the color, buy a few so your always have plenty. As for the red lippy that can be tricky too. We all want the fabulous 40s ear bright red lips we adore in all the old movies or secretly want to channel our inner Taylor Swift, but finding the right shade for your individual complexion is just as challenging as finding your foundation color. Thank you, Jessie. That red lippy I tried had orange undertones. The good news is that it was a freebie from when I bought all my stuff last week. I’m definitely going to be trying some other foundations. So, it gives me a perfect opportunity to try some color testing. Once I find one that performs as I would like, I will have to get multiple shades to use throughout the year. Right now, I am pale and slightly pinkish. In the summer I am extremely dark skinned because I have mixed ancestry. Plus, there’s all the changes in between.… Read more »

Thanks, Philma. I’m feeling confident doing my eyes. I need to tweak my foundation, contouring, and blush. Got my proper wig finally and just need to trim the bangs a bit. Getting close to that first public appearance!!
