Latest thrift outfit

Today's outfit was largely acquired from Savers over the past weekend. The red flats from Torrid were the only thing you see that I originally bought new. First thing you'll notice is the purple slightly sparkly dress. It along with the blue top underneath are actually Justice brand attire, as in its marketed primarily to tween girls. Even though the dress is in XL and clearly fits my torso it's not quite long enough to get away with wearing it without tights, which here were originally from Lane Bryant. I also changed out my purse as the old one was starting to come apart. I did some browsing through my local Torrid and got compliments for my look as I added a few things to my wish list, then I went and donated platelets again.

From the innocent sight in my teens of a pretty brunette classmate who frequently yet accidentally revealed the waistband of her nylon panties above the top of her cordoroy pants came the source of my two obsessions in life. I love that outfit, Christine. In fact, I think I like it better than any I’ve seen on you. It’s a nice blend of colors and styles. Very well put together. Let me add, I also like the way you talk us through all the details of your outfits in your photo descriptions. I enjoy reading where you got everything and how you created the ensemble.
