Thanks. My shoe size somewhat limits my footwear options. To make matters worse, I’m a huge fan of stilettos. These spool heeled shoes answer the call and they are a delight to walk in. I think the shape of the heel accentuates the geometric pattern of the dress. My 6/3 height doesn’t need the slight platform, but it makes the shoe work. Thanks again.
I applaud your willingness to experiment, Trish. I very much like each pattern individually, but I’m not totally convinced they pair well together. In the end, however, I think the outfit does work. And that’s because the colors are in sync — gray and white for both. That makes a big difference. Which suggests to me that it’s important to be extra cautious when adding color to the equation. Like you, I was skeptical at first, but the concept of contrasting patterns grew on me. Before I add color, I think a web search about women’s fashion trends might help. In the meantime I think I’ll just soak in your comments. Thanks again.

Absolute Amazing the look you get contrasting patterns Trish. Especially with such items like a wrap, shawl, scarf, nice topper or jacket like the one you are wearing. Yesterday I wore a dark blue dress with white polka dots. Then I wore a paisley designed light shawl over around my shoulders with a slight color coordination. You look very well put together and beautiful. Love. Janice.

Unfortunately I did not get a picture. I had a few nice comments from some ladies at church and then a potluck dinner afterwards. Possibly I will be able to get one soon with contrasting patterns. For I have been doing it more often with shawls and toppers
