If you look through the profiles and posts, you'll see lots of us have similar backgrounds.
I've been here for a couple of months and it's made a huge difference to me. After many years of hiding "the secret", it's pure joy to meet others like me and to share our stories....in a safe and supportive place.

Yes, I looked at a few before I found this place - the others were pretty much porn with people trying to hook up. You won't find that here, the difference is night and day, both metaphorically and figuratively.

Kate continues to grow and push the boundaries by getting out more. I tend to dress more further afield as work around UK. I often go out in Birmingham as Kate....love it.

@katewoodsx I work away from home every day ... at my own house! Stay over one night per week too rather than go back to the OH's house where we live. So that's my full Fiona day, hair & makeup and whatever progress I can make normally happens then. Just started going out en femme, can't wait to do it again!

Hi Kate, can I add my welcome to all the others here. You will have noticed there are quite a few from the UK ... I am not many miles away from you. My wife and I spent a lovely day in Bath a week ago; I was fully en-femme and wrote a bit about it in one of the Forum posts here. I would encourage you to share your experiences when you can.

I'm a mature crossdresser I've been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister's lingerie on I'm still in the closet to my family,

I am so happy for that because if I would’ve found one of those other sites described earlier, I may not have a ventured any further thinking, they were all like that. CDH Allows me to explore, yet another feminine side of myself. I hope you enjoy CDH, as much as I have!

Wow...so many lovely welcomes....thank younso much all.
Will share more about me...probably fairly typical in many ways. Caught the bug pretty young in life, dad left home and spent alot of time with mum and sister, sister took to doing my hair and makeup sometimes (I had very girly bright blonde hair) and loved it. Got more curious as got older and when sister went to university I got her old room....with some dresses and stuff still left behind....well, I was in heaven! Fought it but by time 30 it was taking over. Now get out and about when can bit fairly secretive. Not honest with partner which isn't great but it's complicated!
