Favorite Song Quotes

Borrowing an idea from Trisha Smith (because it’s not plagiarism if you give credit ;}) I thought it’d be fun to explore our favorite song quotes.  Please give the quote but not the song or artist in question, and if you know the origin please respond with the answer.  And feel free to move on and/or give the answers to your own quote so as to not bog things down.

I’ll start with a favorite:

The song itself is an interesting and fun pop song and this particular set of lyrics stood out to me. They have taken on a personal meaning which I’m not sure the writer had in mind “Oh, oh, forgiving who you are for what you stand to gain. Just know if you hide, it doesn’t go away.
