First time out as my woman self.

So, some things have happened. I still have my forms, aside from not being able to connect date wise with the person that was going to take them, I wanted to try and right this crap shoot of a ship I’m on and asked if it was ok for me to keep them. They were fine with that, and I did tell them that if I do have to part with them, they are on my list for sure.

I did manage to find a part time job, not too fond of it though. Like my mom once said about her one job, the pay’s nice, the environment sucks. It’s working in the deli section of a local grocery store. While I’m still new, I’m not completely comfortable dealing with the customers yet.

Anyway, I had this past Friday off and after finally getting paid, I ran a few errands and decided to do them as my female self. Small forms, hip pads and a wig. I thought I would be more nervous than I was, but it was amazing. I felt really good walking around the stores as a woman. There was one woman that gave me a weird look, but I think it was more for I was in her way more so than anything else.

The best part, a little kid was at the one store. Looked at me, then told his mom that I looked pretty. Honestly, that made my day. I can’t wait until I can do this again.

You found a similar thing to what I have been finding . Other people have there own lives and either don’t notice that we are what we are or really don’t care. As long as we are out there trying to live our own lives, don’t make a big deal of us. For me, I/we have been getting along together.

For me so far it is kind of odd to all friends, co-workers and others I have come out to (even those in my Church that I have told) –Either don’t care or are happy for me. It is some in my own family that are giving me problems.
