      Helo lovely ladies!

Hope you’re all fine and well today.

Probably aimed more at those who are not 24×7, but I welcome thoughts from anybody as I was wondering if your desire to dress is determined by how you’re feeling, where you are mentally etc?

Let me give some context.  Lately (last couple of months I guess) I’ve not really been the happiest person going.  Long standing issue at work, little lockdown fatigue, other reasons I won’t bore you with here but my desire to dress has been almost non existent during this time (please don’t judge me!) and it got me thinking about this.

Dressing makes me happy for sure but the motivation to go to the effort seems heavily dependant on my mental state it seems.

I have some opportunity over the upcoming Easter weekend to dress so, in anticipation of that, I’ve ordered myself a couple of bits today (a new skirt, stockings, bra and some panties), just hope I get to wear them.

Am I the only one who has such off days or is this common/normal? Don’t mean to be depressing, just interested in the correlation between mood and our femme worlds.

      Love Rachel

      Hey Rachel.

I’m far from an everyday dresser, if one doesn’t count panties 😄.  I think I know how you feel. I have noticed, though, that when the opportunity to dress up arises, how far I chose to go depends on stressors that may be affecting my mood.  Dressing all the way, including makeup and my wig makes me feel wonderful, but I don’t always do it if something non-cd is bothering me.

I hope you enjoy your Easter weekend.

      Much love,

      Raquel

Stress is often reduced with a little dress up, but a lot of stress and I won’t feel like doing much of anything including dressing. I am in the closet so dressing requires effort and time so if I am feeling overwhelmed the desire isn’t there.

I do think that ones mental outlook on things each day plays a part in the decision to dress or not.

      Hugs, Liara
