Hi lovely ladies,
So, next weekend I have the opportunity (i.e enough free time!) to have my first shot at makeup. I’ve been watching many YT vids and also the resources on here, but I’m still nervous as hell.
One of my biggest concerns is I’m partially sighted so ‘close work’ such as this is far from ideal. I have no doubts I’ll make a dogs d…[Read more]

Hello lovely ladies,
Hope you’re all safe and well.
I have been away from CDH and dressing for a while. I had been quite unmotivated, unexcited and uninterested in dressing for a few weeks (maybe longer if I’m honest) and in May I finally admitted/accepted I had been suffering from depression in silence, triggered by something that was goin…[Read more]

I have only been dressing for 15 months (for more than 5 minutes at a time) so maybe I’m not ‘qualified’ to answer this question, but these are my thoughts anyway. Cross dressing is a journey and it is you who decides the final destination, whether that be trans or enjoying a quickie dress for some gratification or somewhere in the middle…[Read more]

Helo lovely ladies!
Hope you’re all fine and well today.
Probably aimed more at those who are not 24×7, but I welcome thoughts from anybody as I was wondering if your desire to dress is determined by how you’re feeling, where you are mentally etc?
Let me give some context. Lately (last couple of months I guess) I’ve not really been the happie…[Read more]Rachel Hayes replied to the topic Hello from New Hampshire in the forum Introductions & New Members 2 years ago
Welcome to the loveliest place on planet internet.
I am in Portsmouth a number of times a year on business and enjoy NH a lot.

I’m ordering from Amazon (general stuff) almost daily so, thankfully, an Amazon box coming to the house doesn’t really draw attention (thank you Prime! haha). I understand that flats, pumps etc are comfy but nothing makes you femme like heels so I totally get the transformation you experienced after the (lovely sounding) red 2 inchers. Strange t…[Read more]

That’s the thing I’m becoming aware of. Checking out the shoes is almost the first thing I’m doing now. Quickly followed by thinking ‘wonder how they would go on me with X, Y and Z’ Hehe. It’s so much fun! Time to acclerate the heel height increments me thinks *giggles*

Hey girls!
I realise I’m very late to the party, but I just discovered I love shoes!
Up until now, I’ve had my 2x pairs (strappy open toe sandals and knee high boots) but while casually browsing amazon, ASOS, New Look and some other sites looking at clothes I wandered off into the shoes and wow – just wow.
I really fear for my purse as I have…[Read more]Rachel Hayes replied to the topic Advice for Experimentation in the forum General Chat "Life as it Goes On" 2 years ago
I can fully sympathise with you and your feelings. For me, there are times when the urge to dress is stronger than others (I think this is called ‘pink fog’). I am actually going through such a phase at the moment where dressing, looking pretty and girly things are consuming many of my thoughts. I have a week or so of ‘freedom’ coming up…[Read more]

Firstly and foremost, I would never condemn anybody for their opinion. I respect the fact you have a view even if I don’t necessarily agree with it. Some of the conversations I had with people on Brexit, COVID etc were ‘interesting’ *giggles*
However, I completely agree that some subjects should not be ‘taught’ at school, especially at a young…[Read more]Rachel Hayes replied to the topic Friend shocked me in the forum General Chat "Life as it Goes On" 2 years ago
Racquel, you’re right and it’d be a pretty boring world if everyone agreed 100% with everybody else haha. You’re also right that, in the main, we get on very well and hence we’ve been good friends for many many years. However, there is very little he could say to me that would make me question the friendship and, I can assure you, that matters r…[Read more]

This is my point though. What is there to “accept” ? Your sister is still your sister!! I have a good friend at work who came out to me as gay recently and said he was so scared of telling me because where he lives, he can’t even hold his boyfriend’s hand without abuse being shouted at him. I nearly vomited. He was speechless when I said he a…[Read more]

Rachel Hayes replied to the topic Wearing heels at home how often.. in the forum General Chat "Life as it Goes On" 2 years ago
I just love heels so I try to wear as much as I possibly can. Due to home situation, that means most of the working day Mon-Fri. Still, I feel great when I do so it’s worth it.
I’m desperate to get off the chunky 2 inchers I have now and into something higher, pointier and sexier *giggles*

Hello everybody,
Wow! – What a year it’s been, eh?!!
I joined here in late January having already spent a couple of weeks ‘grappling’ with what I was experiencing and feeling.
As a result, I spent 2021 being part of the CDH family which has been nothing short of AMAZING!!
I wanted to thank you all for the support, love and kindness you’ve…[Read more]

Not sure about physical therapy, but wearing heels do absolute wonders for my mental health *giggles*
I guess the test here would be to wear them again next time your injury flares up and see if you get the same result.
