Hey girls! Harietta is back with a big question.

BTW Sherrie and I are fine and we thank you all for the box hair dye ideas. It’s saved us fistfuls of $$$’s and (although I really, really miss them) has kept us out of crowded salons. I was anxious about working on Sherrie, but her new aquamarine + emerald green fashion colour is simply delicious. It was a lot of rather technical work but I may have a new line of work when El Covido is banished finally!

So..we have introduced some new gentle botanical/herbals along with the macca. I am not sure if it’s the (not so now) dreaded gynomastica or whether my chest is blossoming, but we are now happy that I have real cleavage with the help of a Vie en Rose push-up bra. My mojo is also still intact, in fact better, but maybe that’s the result of happiness.

The thing is that my waist is still like a family size Cheerios box and my back really doesn’t like the stress of waist cinchers nor the restriction of corsets. I’d also like to feel good in a bikini…

So the big question is about waist “training”. What works, what doesn’t?  What costs big, what costs small? What about maintenance?

      Cyber hugs all!

As a trainer told me: the only muscle people notice first is the stomach and its the major reason people join the gym. I went from a 34 waist to 28 doing leg raisers and sit ups as he recommended. Its work but well worth the effort and will take a few months to really show.Since then I can wear belly and balero blouses and do the excersies twice a week.

      Harrietta,

I went from sizes 18 to 16, to 14 & now I’m size 12. In jeans, slacks & skirts ( so far dresses: haven’t purchased in size 12. I have  a “bone waist cinched, & belt that goes around your waist but being size 12, dressed up I don’t need to “tighten” up besides I have 2 girdles: 1 is a panty girdle the other is an open bottom girdle. I was going to ask; do I really & necessary to wear a waist cincher, especially don’t have a big belly but is flat? Love to hear from size 10 & 12 ladies: Re your opinion. Robin Jennifer.

Deborah, was it a combination of the sit ups and leg lifts with weight loss, or just the exercise.

      Thanks,

      Melissa
