Lewis Bailey Inspirational Young Drag Queen

My heart was gladdened the other day when I saw an interview on Youtube with a young UK dragqueen called Lewis Bailey.I guess he must be about sixteen by now.The interview was broadcast last November on the uk tv show This Morning.When he was fourteen  in 2018 his school gave him permission to do a drag show at the school.At the last minute the school refused to go ahead as Lewis being fourteen was a minor and it was allegedly against the law.His family looked into the matter and were told there was no such law and the school changed their mind as long as the act was respectable.It was and it was a great success.There has been a lot of contreversy  surrounding drag kids because some of them allegedly dress inappropriately but the outfit that Lewis wore on the tv show was respectable and elegant.The lad is so poised and completely feminine,articulate ,mature and sensible.He seems like a really nice kid too.I am so happy for him.Although his parents are happy to let him dress as a girl at home his peers at school have been bullying him.His older sister who was on the show had to plead with bullies to leave him alone as they tried to follow him home from school.The happy and contended smiles  on the lads face during the course of the interview said it all.He is one of the best ambassadors for drag kids I have ever seen.Truly inspirational.I wish him every success on his journey
