Replies to forum threads not working.

I just tried, twice, to post a list of useful Australian links to The Great World Wide CD/TG Support, Dining and Activities Search thread.
Both times, after clicking ‘Submit’ the entered post text vanished, and my post was not added to the thread.
What’s gone and broken itself behind the scenes?
