It is different for every situation. However I don’t feel like I lost anything. I gained a best friend and a person who is happier than she was before. Misty still has the same beautiful heart she had before. The only difference is the outside view changed. I love everything about her. And as far as being macho or alpha, let someone try to hurt o…[Read more]

Great article Christie. We are so lucky to have a site like CDH for us to explore our true womanhood and step out confidently into the world. Good for you girl. I admire your courage to come out to your friend.
Thanks for sharing this!
Very well said, and I really treasure you and Misty’s friendship !!
Thank you for posting this inspiring article. It’s very uplifting and I’ll hold it in my thoughts as I go about my day.
Thank you…
Hi Christy, Love the Article. Though single, I know the joy of going out. And coming out to friends who accept me. Tonight I am invited to a party, by a Girl I met while out. Her and her wife invited me to join them. This is a first for me! I am a little nervous, but so excited.Several of their friends are going to be there. I couple of them I also met that night at the club. This is the most accepted I have ever felt outside of CDH. As my friend said, just be yourself. And we need to support each other. Wether Gay, Bi, Trans or straight CD’s. Tonight I meet a whole new community. I hope I represent us well! Looking forward to seeing you and Misty again! Hugs Pru

What a wonderful article! It’s almost like a fictional CD short story. I am so touched and thankful for you and your SO to be brave enough to share with us!
Hi Christy,thank you for sharing.
Having a spouse that is my best friend ,but struggling with my femme side your article was a breathe if fresh air.
Makes me hope we can one day get to your level.
You give me hope thank you.
Your friend is really lucky to have you! My wife doesn’t disapprove of my feminine side but she is worried about what people would think so she insists I hide it from others. Many of my old friends have figured it out long ago. Most of them have yet to meet Samantha though.
Wonderful person you are, who wants their life partner to be whole…

OK if I share this with my wife, Christy? This is wonderful!
Of course you can.
Inspiring Christy. A true friend is there for alleviates, good, or bad. Your day out with your friend is one to cherish. A memory to lean on, and enjoy
Congratulations.
