A silver lining

After recent storms washed out the highway I had to get a helicopter to the mine where I work to start my 3 week stint. I had to overnight in a hotel to be ready for the chopper in the morning. this gave me a welcome opportunity to work on my makeup skills and get dressed up for the evening. I clearly need more practice with makeup, but I do like how my shape-ware makes me look and feel. Here I have an under-bust corset, a bra with home-made foam forms and hip / bum pads. It seems like a lot of fuss to get it all on, but it is worth it when by body has the curves that my brain expects. its a wonderful feeling.

After almost 40 years of rejecting and hiding my feminine side I decided to accept myself and explore my femme side. through the past few months spent on CDH, chatting with members, reading in the forums and articles I have gained a better understanding of who I am and what crossdressing means for me. I still have some exploring to do and some limits to push, but all in good time.
