Had some help with this pose.

One of the nurses at the Red Cross blood donor center was kind enough to take this for me, particularly since the mirrors in the rest rooms don't have full length mirrors. I opted for a full Torrid outfit, all new aside from the black wire free lace overlay bra peeking through the side cutouts of this absolutely heavenly looking and feeling maxi dress. The long slit reveals the red heart patterned mesh ankle socks, which actually came above the knee. They could have stayed up on their own but I opted to use a black garter belt to hold them up, which I wore over a black thong. Although my pulse was racing when I first got there because I rushed to the center I was cleared to donate once they let me relax for a few minutes. It has been hot and humid here recently and the AC in my car is on the fritz so this was the first time I truly dressed up in a while, and I was very happy to do so.

Christine, I have that same outfit! Isn’t it gorgeous?! A beautiful zebra-print dress. Great minds clearly think alike. I’ve only recently discovered Torrid, but I think you’ll agree with me that they have great styles. And good for you for donating blood and looking lovely in the process. I’m glad you had the time to take a photo of you in that dress and share it with us.

I was actually donating platelets, which is why you see both sleeves rolled up as they extract the blood from one arm, run it through a machine that extracts the platelets before the remaining blood components along with some nutrients are returned into the other arm. They wanted to see if both sets of veins are good beforehand. And yes, Torrid has some great styles.

Donating platelets. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Good for you!

Platelets are the part of your blood that promotes clotting, and thus are highly sought after for cancer patients on chemotherapy. Only those with certain blood types are suitable for platelet donation, but A+ is one of them.
