In the early 80s, I was stationed at a US Navy installation just off Ballahack Road on the NC/VA state line in Chesapeake VA. I think it is closed now. I lived near Deep Creek & Great Bridge.
Thank you Peggy Sue. There’s still an Navy presence there. As you know, the Navy is such a big part of the community here. I’ve lived here since 2005, and it’s grown more crowded. I can only imagine the pre-development, pre-terrible traffic days here.
