My last night out, while on my way home from a 13 day car trip to Glacier. I stopped in Memphis for a little bit of the Blues, on Beale Street. I stayed at the Hyatt, so I had a 2 block walk to get to BB Kings place on Beale. Had a simply wonderful time being out. I savored every moment of this night. I just felt so carefree. I walked from one end to the other stopping in to hear some of the other bands, playing that night. Unfortunately, it was Sunday so it was not as full of life as a Fri. or Sat. might be but them again it wasn't at all crowded. So, I wasn't lost in the crowds either.

When younger it was mostly just such a turn on to dab with the taboo. During lockdown last year was the first time that I fully dressed. These days i just sit and enjoy the feeling. It just feels so comfortable when I can put something on. I'm 5'9'' and 152 lb. ( at present ) where a size 8 in pants & dresses and a 9.5 shoe.

I agree Roberta. It would be wonderful hanging out and traveling around with you. Especially since I have never went on any long road trips for more then a couple days. I drove the family once to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We would stop here and there for different attractions. Went through St, Louis and stopped for a ride on a river boat and checked out the arch. Pretty cool. This year I took 2 weeks and drove to Rensselaer Indiana to visit my brother and his wife first time They met Janice full time and It was… Read more »

    Hi Roberta!

I’ve been following your photo travelogue with fond memories. We’ve been everywhere you’ve been on this trek. Including Memphis. How wonderful this country is…? Through the journey; I’ve witnessed you blossom. it’s amazing! We’ve been traveling too. I often thought about asking if you would be making your journey to the Rockies in Colorado. It’s where I am. It would have been marvelous to have met up. Maybe later?

    You are amazing!
