"Wreaths Across America" is an annual event on a Saturday in December when volunteers across America at thousands of military cemeteries lay Christmas wreaths on the graves of America's veterans. I attended this year's ceremony at Marietta National Cemetery. It was cold out. I am glad I dressed the way I did, including bringing a heavy coat.

Lifelong heterosexual CD, completely out of the closet. Earliest memory is of getting into my mother's cosmetics and wearing her high heels, maybe at four years of age. With assistance of two girls who lived across the street, I sometimes dressed completely as a girl, starting at age five. Wife was aware of me being a CD, when we first married. She is supportive. Served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years active duty, employed later in civilian life as an electronics engineer. Now fully retired.

Well Peggy Sue, as a veteran yourself, I can think of no better way for you to spend your day than volunteering with “Wreaths Across America”. Especially looking as lovely as you do.

That’s wonderful Peggy Sue! My wife and I went to our local state veteran’s cemetery to participate. I would have much rather been in a comfy sweater, jeans, and boot than a sweatshirt and jeans…
