I forget that I am dressed more and more often these days. Dressed just feels normal now and I do not feel easy wearing guy clothes. It may be with living on my Jack Jones and so am able to dress as often as I want to… which is all the time.
That sounds great that your new neighbour never even commented.
Just the other week, I had been to one of the hardware stores and was pulling out of the parking lot in my car. At this time I noticed a person wearing a beautiful tan dress, bare legs and low-heeled shows. The person was carrying a shoulder bag and was walking across the car park showing great confidence. I have to say person, because not having engaged in conversation, I don’t know he person’s pronouns. As well as the very fetching attire the person had a head of white hair and full bushy white beard.
It does seem that wearing the clothes you feel comfortable in is becoming more and more acceptable.
