My Female Journey I love being a woman. I regard myself first and foremost as a woman rather than a crossdresser. I love wearing makeup, lingerie, dresses,

Hi Mandy
May I be the first to thank you for sharing this as this story mirrors my own path, having come to accept ‘Maria’ as part of me and reading your own amazing story, it’s a long journey sometimes for many of us but one we ultimately accept, Maria xxxx
Thank you, Maria

Thatnk you for your story. It is nice to know that you are now being your true self after a lot of stop starts which is like many girls here. Enjoy your time.
Thank you, Angela

Mandy, thanks for your story. I feel for you and know that we are empowered when we can truly express ourselves. I have not purged but have stored lots of “supplies“ -makeup, wigs, clothes… etc only to bring back out and adore my feminine side once again. I feel like going out to smell Channel No. 5! I admire your wife for getting makeup for you. In many ways you have so many blessings. Thanks again for your article. Love, hugs and kisses….

Thank you Kaitlyn Pari. You are welcome.
We have a girl at our cd club who purged but her stash was kept by our founding Den Mother. Not 2 months later that girl was looking for her stash to start dressing again. Luckily it had been saved for her. If you feel the need to purge put your stuff in a storage locker or some such safe place because you WILL be coming back for it.
Thank you for sharing this story, BriannaLeah.

@briannaleah I loved hearing this. Until we accept ourselves, it seems we all think a purge and a promise to not dress again will somehow last….it took me years to realize this, and embrace Chanel.
@chanel Hi Chanel, do you have a sister who is named Blanche??? LOL. The guilt then purge problem seems to be relatively common. I have seen it in members of online Club Cross Dressing also. Maybe because I’m older, or maybe I’m just a stubborn cuss but I have never felt the guilt over cross dressing and then felt I needed to purge the items I love so much. Our club exists to support members and part of that is getting them through the hard times. One thing I do know is that the need to go en femme will always come back.
Your club is run by some wise, and very thoughtful ladies- enjoy it!!
It’s almost funny how many of us go through the routine, buy, purge, and buy again, over and over, as if we have any control over the woman inside of us. Charity stores must make a fortune just on we cross dressers buying and purging our clothes. Sometimes I wonder, as I browse through the women’s clothes at the local thrift shops, just how many cross dressers have already owned them before me. One good thing about the buying, purging cycle, it helps keep the wardrobe styles current.
Hugs,
Jennifer

@blondechick23 Thanks for sharing your story, Mandy. I have to agree with you, life is to short not to go out and try to find if this (becoming a woman)is where you need/want to be. I am 69 and in good health and might only have a few weeks to live or I might have decades to explore myself, either way I need to find myself.

And let’s face it, men’s clothing is BORING! Really, what would you rather wear, a suit and tie and those flat shoes, or feel utterly fabulous in a beautiful dress and high heels to show off your legs?

It’s worse than that, though. Other than most management environments or at the opera, where do you see any man dress nicely? On the street, most males dress terribly in casual, sloppy clothes with poor colour choices and shoes. At least some manufacturers added a bit of bright colour to some basketball shoes that a few wear. Woof!
There are a few men that wear some very nice suits and actually fit them well, but holy cow. They mostly suck at choosing casual clothes. You have to wonder what the women in their lives actually think of them.
Henriette, I agree that mens clothing is boring. I enjoy wearing a dress and high heels. Mainly do in the safety of my apartment, but have met other like minded “girls” a few times. Do not have the nerve to do alone.
Sorry I botched your name Harriette. It is early in the morning.
Congrats Mandy on getting there and accepting, embracing, encouraging who you really are! Your post is inspiring!
It seems there are more and more men who are showing their interest in CDs and trans-women. I wonder if it’s like a taboo that excites them more than the usual. Or is it that the gender or sexuality fluidity is being expressed more. We live in a fascinating time.
Thank you
Amanda, thank you for sharing. My story is very similar to yours with many purges shame and guilt. I am a woman and I need to truly accept myself and start living as the woman I was met to be.

Hi everyone. New here.
Hi Juliette
Welcome
@blondechick23
Thank you for sharing your story, I came out and at the moment the only problem is my identity documents which are still male, if I were in Germany or the Netherlands I certainly could have opted for the so-called “solution minimal” and get my female documents. But I’m also working on solving this problem!
