My first time out in public en femme was at a museum. And I loved it! It’s not just great for walking around. It’s an interesting activity, you get to proceed at your own pace. And everybody’s looking at the exhibits, so they don’t really care much to look at you. I’m glad you were able to get that off your bucket list.
And when you went to the ladies room for the first time, did you come to the same conclusion that I did? That it’s no big deal?
You are correct Angela! I read suggestions on one of the forums that museums were a good place to try, and that was great advice! Very comfortable…I kind of got lost in the moment, and forgot (briefly) that I was cross dressed; a great feeling! And yes, the bathroom was no big deal. It helped that next to the women’s room sign, there was another sign that said to use whatever bathroom you were comfortable with; I knew I was in the right place!

Right? Just a simple activity, wearing nothing too glamorous, and thoroughly enjoying being in the moment. I don’t want to call it a turning point for me, but it was a very relaxed and chill afternoon that I hadn’t historically felt while being en femme
