This is a Lauren Ralph Lauren evening gown purchased for a few dollars at my favorite local thrift store. I've worn a few other Ralph Lauren dresses over the years and loved them all for their flattering fit and weighty fabric. My SO says this looks to her like a Mother of the Bride dress. I don't know about that, I just love how this dress looks and feels (especially the gorgeous floral lace bodice!). What exactly makes a dress a MOTB dress, anyway? I'd love to know...

On-and-off CDing since early teens. Long stretches without any urges but here in my advanced middle age Mona has emerged in force. She's a high-spirited gal who shall no longer be denied. It's both thrilling and a bit intimidating because I don't know where she's planning to take me. Although I only get to dress every now and then, I'm having great fun and just enjoying the ride. I'm happy to have found this welcoming and supportive community and hope to get more involved as time allows.

That dress is a dream. I love it, I don’t usually go for asymmetrical styles, but this one is perfect. Blue is my favorite color, and the navy and white contrast really pops here.

lovely.
