During our day to day life we can do many things to feel more feminine. We can paint our toenails a fabulous new shade every week, or wear demure cotton panties beneath our otherwise manly attire, or let the slight whiff of  feminine perfume leave a mystery in the air for others to ponder.

These are all a fun way to get in touch with your feminine side on a more regular basis, but don't introduce the more awkward and time consuming aspects of being a woman. Those bland day to day rituals a woman goes through that the average crossdresser experiences weekly or monthly as a mystical and wondrous event. When done once in a while makeup application becomes a delight, not a chore. Brushing and styling those long luxurious locks is thirty minutes of heaven before a day in the clouds, not something that deprives you of an extra 10 minutes sleep every day.

This week's poll is inspired by the divine and awkward feminine necessity of sitting to pee. The question for you is, do you sit to pee all the time, or do you reserve this particular regiment for when you're in full feminine regalia?

[poll id="26"]

Relive Your Most Embarrassing Moment in Crossdressing

While last week's poll revealed by a landslide that the most embarrassing crossdressing moment is being discovered by friends or family - the comments did turn up some interesting stories. If you haven't had a chance to read the comments I encourage you to take a look at what the readers of Crossdresser Heaven shared. I promise you, Franny's tale has a way of putting in perspective any embarrassment you've experienced that is much more powerful than years of reflective contemplation.

Have a wonderful week ladies!

Actually, being able to stand up and pee is one of the great things about having the male plumbing. It's the one convenience I will take advantage of while I can. But it just depends on what I am wearing and if it is easier to sit or stand while going. Sometimes I'm tired and just want to sit, so after my accident, I am finding myself sitting to go a lot more. lol

Hehe, indeed. I must admit that I falter in public bathrooms. Men are quite disgusting, and the thought of cleaning the seat sufficiently so I can do my business is not a pleasant thing to look forward to...

Hello,

I have to pee sitting down all the time, for I am handicap and it does not matter if I am dressed as a male or female.

Thank you,

Terri Virgil

I do it in a regular basis, taking the advantage of my business trips and whenever in my hotel room, dressed as a girl, it is a complementary good feeling to act this way. It works great and the sensation is wonderful.

Hi denise. Interesting, you get a "sensation peeing". I never had that. I dislike peeing. Its disgusting, but part of life. We all often have to face things we dont like to do.

The poll doesn't give me the most fitting choice. Generally I sit down - partly due to no urinal and being conscious of the noise of urination when standing - the so-called courteous flush equivalent. Where there are urinals and other men using the facility I don't use a stall. So, for me, the issue isn't en femme or not it is the circumstances. I prefer sitting partly due to the fact it is the female practice.

It is best to sit down and pee when dresses in a skirt an wearing a slip Especially in the ladies "Powder Room" or female Loo If you do not sit down You could pee on your feminine clothing and stink like a man. Aslo if you sit down others cannot notice that your shoes are facing the loo Rather than facing forward as a woman sitting down appears, To go in The Mens while dressed enfemme is inviting more troubles than if you use "The Ladies" If there is one ? Maybe the Disabled toilet is the better one to use and safer. It takes a CD longer to use the toilet because of the problems of undoing your under wear. Ive never had any problems going to the Ladies Powder room Fixing your make up and hair in the Mens would be asking for trouble. No one takes any notice in the ladies. I have had no problems waiting in the que dressed in Evening Dress at the Magnificent ladies powder rooms at the Sydney Opera house with its huge mirrors over the wash basins and the floor to ceilings mirrors on the wall behind the wash basins So one can look at my evening dress, hair, make up etc to see how it looks If one is dressed as a woman. One must look appropriately dressed for the situation Act like a woman and Go to The ladies room or Disabled loo. Afterall we are trying to be a female and must do what women do as far and much as we are able.

I have been sitting to pee for years - much longer than I have been cross dressing. I started it at home when I had to start getting up in the middle of the night to pee. That way I don't have to wake up enough to aim. 🙂 And it eliminates the splash factor, so keeping the bathroom clean is easier. It has become so much of a habit tht I don't even think about it , except when am in a public restroom, as someone else here has said, I usually have to wipe off the seat first. 🙁

I personally think that ALL MALES, myself included should SIT DOWN
to urinate. Why you ask, well first of all it is better then standing. When a male urinates when standing there is a back splash, whether yo do it in the water or spray on the porcelain. The spray also creates a mist that goes back on your clothing. The other fault is the dribble afterward usually winds up either on the toilet seat or the bowl rim if the seat and lid is lifted.
I was raised, as well as my brothers that we sit when using the toilet, this is irregardless of what we are doing. I never saw a urinal til I was an adult, which is even nastier then a traditional toilet. The sprayback is even worse, especially if they contain the urinal odorant cakes inside them. I also think the design of the seat could be improved. It should have a guard that slips inside the rim of the bowl similar to boys potty chairs. DON"T YOU AGREE. This would stop some the mess from accumulating.
Mothers should teach ALL of their sons to sit while urinating.

At home I always sit down as there is the splash factor which has been mentioned already. We have a tiled bathroom and everything is noticeable if you are not clean. But when I go into public bathrooms I find it hard to sit down due to the filth factor in many cases. Where were these people brought up besides the barn? There are some pigs out there in human clothing. At that point I opt for the urinal even tho I would rather sit..

Like most things my work prevents me from sitting to pee. If you have ever used a porta potty, you know they are (on average) 5 days past filthy. When ever I go out, even as a male I always ware all the fem cloths as possible. I always set to pee. that is one of the things that makes me feel the most femm.

When a toilet is questionable, most girls I know sort of squat over it..In too many cases, bathrooms are discusting messes..male,female and family included. As a society, some people are pigs and uncaring for the next person. Restaurants should be given more citations!
