@silver08 I love your enthusiasm! The first leggings that I purchased were in an Aldi grocery store, and they were black fleece-lined for warmth. Like you, after I purchased my first pair, I fell in love with leggings. You currently… Read more»

My hair grows pretty fast as well. The awkward stage will pass soon enough and the results will be well worth the effort.

Hi Lauren,
I have been letting my hair grow for about 8 years now. At one point it was past the middle of my back but I had it trimmed back and it falls about at my bra strap now. I have let my hair grow long several times through out my life and there has always been the awkward stage. It’s long enough to be in the way and sort of a nuisance but…[Read more]

Hi Kerri,
Supplements are a multi billion dollar industry, annually. Many companies offer their customers a free one month supply in exchange for posting a positive review so the reviews can be subjective. I usually read the negative reviews and look for a common complaint and then research the ingredients. Having done so on this product it would…[Read more]

Hi Cerys,
My hair is about the same length as yours. It’s fairly thick and difficult to style without using a ton of products which I dislike. If I were in your heels I would tie some ribbons, bows or other hair accessories in it and go for a summer of love type vibe.

My first in person purchase was a pair if suntan L’eggs pantyhose. I thought I was going to hyperventilate and pass out.

At least 20 times, maybe more. A local radio station used to do midnight showings of it at a old grand theater that still had a balcony. People would come dressed up as characters in the movie and everyone would sing along. Every time it turned into a huge party.

I have never heard of Heidi Phox before so I googled her and watched a few of her videos, ok more than a few but it’s Sunday morning and I had nothing else to do. Thanks for the post.

I believe she was only in episodes during the first season. I have read that the hair was actually several wigs weaved around a cone that she wore on her head. She said it was kind of awkward.

I had to think about this one for a bit and decided my favorite is Yeoman Janice Rand from the original Star Trek. I guess it’s official now….I’m old..

Meghan, thank you so much for posting this. It’s something I have been thinking about a lot lately. My wife of over 30 years passed away earlier this year. We never had any children so outside of some friends there few shoulders to cry on. Dating again at this point in my life doesn’t seem very appealing but spending the rest of my days alone…[Read more]

I have only had one dream where I was dressed. I have also had a dream where I was a cis gendered female. I think it’s the best dream I have ever had that I can remember.

I use a damp Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove salt stains from my golf caps in the summer. It keeps them looking like new and doesn’t ruin their shape because very little moisture is left behind.

I went to a salon yesterday after almost seven years of neglect. My stylist and I agreed on a blunt cut and took off about eight inches. It’s now just a few inches past my shoulders and looks and feels amazing. I hope your trip to the salon was as much fun as mine.

The leave in conditioner I use is just for the tips. I really need to have them trimmed but just keep putting it off.
I take NeoCell Super Collagen Type 1 & 3 + Vitamin C tablets. I prefer the tablets over the powders because it’s easier for me. My nails are also growing like weeds.
Michelle Skylar replied to the topic Hairdressing advice in the forum Fashion Beauty & Makeup 1 years ago
I have let my hair grow for about six years now and it’s almost down to the middle of my back. I don’t really do very much other than shampoo and condition it twice a week, use a leave in conditioner and let it dry naturally. I also take a collagen supplement every day which I believe helps.
