Wonderful to hear! You are absolutely right! There probably are a few gay bars where they host drag shows as well. You never know?

Finishing your Feminine Face Part 3 This is part three and the last article on making a “face” and creating a feminine look! In addition to considering the jaw line, I will also
Thanks fvor the information.
I’d love to be able to do my lips but at my age, my lips amount to merely a thin line that delineates my mouth from my face. Lip liner helps a little but try too hard and I start to look like a drag artist or even worse, a clown! {emotes}:sad:My mouth shows my age as a thin line too. What can I do?
Thanks for the information.

I find it instructive as wel las affirmative. I’ve been using basically the same lip procedures, so I feel like I’m on the right track. Now to try your contouring suggestions, and i have never used a setting spray. The adventure continues!
Thank you Melissa,
Lots of very good and extremely helpful pointers! I’ve always used the techniques you mention for my jawline and nose. My hairdresser, who was a beautician for 35 years, says she knew I was intersex and not just trans just because of my cheeks, jawline, my soft facial skin, and what she calls, my killer Cupid’s bow! I will have to try the lighter powder above my Cupid’s bow and on the tip of my nose. 🙂Hugs,
Ms. Lauren MStephanie here, I wanted to share a daring experience where I am now. Three days ago I landed in Vietnan in a middle size city, took an apartment. J
I have passed comfortably @ home in Fla. Dressed daily to the grocery or doctors office, brokers office or bank.
But today with trepidations, I went out in fem, in pencil blue pint skirt, pretty panties and blouse. Not knowing what to expect I walked perhaps a half-mile among locals on sidewalks to an open Aire market teaming with shoppers.
As I a. A bit taller than again folks generally, I stood out that way as well.
How pleasantly surprised I was to move among the throngs of shoppers with no difficulty, I even went into a 2nd hand close shop and tried on.2 Maxi skirts in a tiny dressing room at the back. Unfortunately they were too small at the waist.
I felt so pretty in my skirt tho, I think I must have smiled all the way back to my flat. Tomorrow will be another trip out in femme, can’t wait!
If I can risk this you girls need to step out and enjoy being who you are!Wonderful to hear! You are absolutely right! There probably are a few gay bars where they host drag shows as well. You never know?

@sweetmelissa Thanks Melissa. AS my research continues I’m maintaining a general bibliography which I can add to as I find out about more titles. It’s already gone way beyond the ones that I’ve been able to include here 🙂

On the question of being “found out”. I hit that wall one day when I went out shopping and got back home only to find my wife there. I didn’t go into the house, I knew she would find my box of goodies in the bedroom. I drove away and called her on the phone. She agreed to talk later that night. After this, I could care less about who found out. My…[Read more]

You are gorgeous and yes you have sweet cheeks. I have a lot to learn from you. Thanks Melissa I enjoyed your article. Getting make up right does make a big difference.
your makeup looks awesome!~
Hi Melissa. Your makeup looks wonderful. You are way past me. Thanks for the article!
Thanks Melissa, some very helpful tips. I really enjoyed this writing, well done. Now, I only have to learn to do it.
Melissa Honey, your picture is amazing and I would love to be a fly on the wall when you are doing makeup. I have such a beautiful time when I’m putting on makeup and when I’m done and it turns out well I smile from ear to ear! Don’t worry most of the time I mess up my eye liner and just have to laugh on how amateur I really am at putting on makeup. I have learned some points from you and thank you very much for sharing this information. Hopefully I will continue to improve my makeup skills but in the meantime, thanks again for some nice tips.
Thanks Melissa. There is so much great information here. No wonder you always look so lovely.

@sweetmelissa I couldn’t agree more Melissa. Sometimes when I’m dressed up only high energy dance music with a female vocalist can match my energy.
Melissa Honey replied to the topic "Playlists!" – 3 months ago
In girly mode, its dance music all the way. I love the beat, the energy and it matches with how I feel all dressed up! I only listen to female vocalists when I’m Melissa!

We all do what we can with what we’ve been given. The fact that are still comfortable dressing and it works for you is all that matters.

Hi Melissa, Thank you! Lots of helpful advise, particularly for those who are part time.
I am a full time girl, working as a woman in a local government office. Your advice on dressing the same way as the women around you is priceless if you seek to pass. I have always dressed in such a manner and I pass with ease. It helps that I am only 5’6″ and 170lbs and inherited my mother’s facial features, thanks mom. 🙂 I am a bit of a big girl, my bras are 42C or D depending on the outfit. I wear a size 14 or ladies L if regular and XL if petite.
I also like to support local, my two favorite stores for my clothes are Laura and Cleo, both Canadian companies with clothing that is beautiful and high quality.
Your advice on pulling in your waist, pushing out your bust, is so good, and we need to remember to pull our shoulders back, stand straight and proud of the women we are. And we always need to remember to walk in like we own it!
Thanks Melissa, hugs,
Ms. Lauren M
@reallylauren I know of Laura. Don’t know Cleo.
@harriette Hi Harriette, type in cleo.ca and you will have fun looking at all their wonderful women’s fashions, enjoy!
Half of my clothes are from Cleo, and a quarter are from Laura, the rest are from places like Hudson’s Bay, Winners or even Marks.
Hugs,
Ms. Lauren M
@sweetmelissa Recently, I bought 3 LBDs from Melanie Lynn thinking that at least one might work. I didn’t have much time to waste. One did. The other two are too tight, but I hope to exchange them. One of them looks like the one above.

Thank you for taking the time to write an informative article to help us girl show off our feminine identity… BTW you are elegant and yet classy …thanks for sharing
Awesome article, Melissa. I have a 34 waist, and, yes, my bra band is 40. My cup is C. I’ve had one bra fitting and I was told I had the torso for a D. Tried a D, and it wasn’t me.
Melissa, I love dresses and black skirts. I guess I have two “styles”. The first is office/professional look. The second is surprising.
It’s an age appropriate, reserved sexy look. Shoulders and arms are on full display. Melissa, I have two good features. I have a good butt from decades of running. Wearing pantyhose gives my butt a very nice roundness. My second good feature are my shoulders and upper arms. That’s from 30 something years of lifting weights.
I CAN NOT PASS. I do like what I look like in the mirror though.
Have I been out in public? Yes, fully dressed to my therapist’s office. When I get a pedicure, I go underdressed, but there is no question I’m presenting as a woman.
Keep up the good writing, Melissa.
Christine
Spot on Melissa. Enhance carefully and not exaggerate is the perfect scenario. Of course there will be girls like your friend but she has a persona that carries it off which many of us haven’t got.

Thank you so much for your article!
Thank you for this Melissa. It is nice to read articles by a fellow Canadian. Oh, and there is no such thing as too many heels.
Thank you Melissa, for such an excellent article! You verified for me what I discovered myself. It’s soooo fun to wear tight miniskirts and sexy lingerie, but that’s not what everyday clothes are. Cis women do the same thing. They shop and try on and buy all these sexy and glamerous clothes but when they go grocery shopping the wear t-shirts and blue jeans! So I put on hip pads and blue jeans and LOVE what I see in the mirror! Thanks for validating my thoughts,
Sheryl
