Even as a boy, I thought girl’s clothing was more interesting than boy’s clothing. I dabbled with crossdressing in my early 20’s trying on my sisters’ clothes — but didn’t take it very far because very little fit me. Eventually my attention turned to my career — getting my degree and teaching at a university. So my crossdressing laid dormant for decades. But the itch never totally went away. When I retired, I realized that the time was right to try my hand at crossdressing again. Except this time I got serious. The internet provided me with women’s apparel that actually fit me — and delivered it to my front door. YouTube taught me how to apply makeup and other tricks to feminize my appearance. And I had the time and freedom to experiment. The result is that I was able to create Angela, a woman whose beauty and femininity exceeded my wildest expectations. I’m sorry if that sounds vain, but I’ll never forget the first time I saw her in the mirror, fully realized, staring back at me. What a rush! If only my 20-something self could see me now! I joined Crossdresser Heaven about three months after I got back into crossdressing, and it changed my life. The support and love I feel from this community has given me the confidence and courage to take my crossdressing to the next level. I now go out in public as Angela — something that I honestly thought I would never do when I began my crossdressing journey. So what’s next? Going shopping with my CDH friends, a professional makeover, and a convention or two. Stay tuned.
You look very nice.Although pantyhose, heels and short dresses are a lot of fun, there’s nothing wrong at all with the everyday woman, blend in look.
Thank you, my friend. Can I let you in on a little secret? I AM wearing pantyhose. I had them on for other outfits I was trying on for that same photo session. Hey, I like pantyhose, and I am unapologetic about it.
I love pantyhose. I became a crossdresser to wear them and show my legs in them. Nutty? Yeah, I think so, but I love it. Without pantyhose there is no Patty. Yes I am shallow that way. Thanks for sharing your little secret. Good girl.

Thank you, Mona. I’ve made a pact with myself they from now on the only blouses I will buy will be silk blouses. I just bought another one from Amazon this morning. Yes, I will probably break that pact somewhere down the line, but that’s the way I feel at the moment. I love silk blouses!
I like silk too. My original collection before I had to purge prior to my move several years ago had quite a few silk items. I may have some in my current collection somewhere, but most of it is in bags piled up in the basement, which I’ll have to sift through at some point.

You have no idea how much that compliment means to me, Kris. Looking like a real woman, a nicely dressed lady, was always my goal. And early on in my crossdressing journey, I truly believed that I could never achieve that. I was just trying to get as close as I could. So it is reaffirming to hear you say that I actually got there. Thank you.

Thank you, Janice. You’re the best. I do feel comfortable with myself, and that is probably one of the best feelings a girl can have. That and feeling pretty. As for feeling comfortable in my clothes, with all the shape-wear that I have, including a corset, maybe not quite as comfortable. LOL
It is a very cute look. See, must everybody can do a glam look… but a natural look, that’s a whole lot more difficult to achieve. Nicely done!!
I completely agree, Gabby. I have been trying to develop my basic, natural look for a while now. I think this photo represents my best effort to date.
