Hawaii was only a vacation, abet a long one. The PNW, Seattle has been home for over fiery years.
But, yes, I understand where Touareg coming from. My wife and I are constantly scheming on how to afford to live full time in the islands. But for now, especially with grandkids close, the PNW is a nice home
