I had stopped for a year but since starting again I am exfoliating daily, not wearing any tight clothes while sleeping and using a natural astringent after every shower/epilating session. Results have been better than previous.

I have the very same epilator! And the same bad experience with hair removal creams. I love not having to shave for 1-2 weeks at a time but it’s a constant battle with ingrown hairs.

If it’s a subject that someone’s never really had to deal with I think it could be seen as defence mechanism default response. If there’s room for further discussion down the road I’d see a comment like that as a sign of someone with an at least partially open mind.
